26 April 2010 Change to Mondays

The club has moved from the old 6-8 on Sundays slot to a new “weekend friendly” 7:30-9:30 Mondays slot.

 

New Year 2010

Website update – including new pictures, new syllabus (now finally going all the way to black belt), and link to our new Yahoo bulletin board.

 

From Sunday 19 April 2009 – New Beginners course

6 training weeks, 6-7 each evening (that’s April 19th & 26th, May 10th, 17th & 31st, June 7th)*.  Please contact us to book.  Cost will be £30 (or £50 for two people) for all six weeks and you’re welcome to watch or join in the club session afterwards.

 

*we don’t train on bank holiday weekends.

 

Saturday 4 April 2009 – Local Martial Arts Clubs friendly seminar

1000-1600 (ish!), Liberal Club.  Instructors to include Guy Gratton (2nd Dan Kempo Jiu Jitsu), Holly Hudson (2nd Dan Jikishin Jiu Jitsu), Chris Stride (instructor, School of Traditional Medieval Fencing), Pete Jones (Master Instructor, Spirit Combat).  All local martial artists who can breakfall are very welcome – just turn up on time with your kit and licence.  No charge, bring sandwiches or lunch is available in the liberal club.

Guy Gratton: 2nd Dan Black Belt

Chris Holley: (Confirmation of) 5th Kyu / Green Belt

Wayne Cooper: 5th Kyu / Green Belt

David Jefferies: 6th Kyu / Orange Belt

Joseph Callender-Butts: 7th Kyu / Yellow Belt

July 2008 – Bucks Kempo moves from Court Garden Leisure Centre in Marlow, to the Liberal Club, High Wycombe.

 

5 November 2006 – Bucks Kempo stops being an aerobics class within Wycombe Leisure Limited, and becomes and independent club.  See the where and when page for new mat fees – but the main thing is please now pay Sensei Guy in the dojo, not Wycombe Leisure at reception.

 

22 October 2006, Guest instructor in Marlow: Sensei Peter Jones from Worcester Spirit Combat
